About Us

Welcome to the Sherlock Holmes Hospitality Group, your neighborhood pubs proudly serving the greater Edmonton area since 1985. As a locally owned and operated pub group, we are dedicated to offering great times, delicious food, friendly people, and exceptional service.

The SHHG pubs are more than just places to eat and drink; we are integral parts of our community. We proudly source many of our ingredients locally, such as fresh-baked breads from local bakeries, cheese from the Cheese Factory on Whyte Avenue, and Cumberland sausage from Old Country Meats.

All proceeds support ovarian cancer research through the Alberta Cancer Foundation, continuing a tradition that has raised vital funds in memory of Colleen Tomchuk.

The Craft Behind the Pub Fare

Plate of butter chicken with rice, naan bread, and a curry with cream drizzle and herbs.

At first glance, a neighbourhood pub menu may seem simple — burgers, steaks, pies and pints. But behind the scenes at The Sherlock Holmes Pubs, there’s far more going on in the kitchen.

Quality has always been at the heart of what we do. Many of our menu items are made from scratch in-house, from our salad dressings and sauces to favourites like our house Butter Chicken. Our chefs take the time to prepare food the traditional way — because doing things properly makes all the difference.

We also believe great food starts with great ingredients. That’s why we work with local suppliers whenever possible, supporting businesses right here in our community.

Our bangers come from Old Country Meats, a trusted local butcher known for exceptional quality and craftsmanship.
Our burger buns are baked fresh by COBS Bread.
And our Alberta steaks are hand-cut in-house, ensuring every steak meets the standard we’re proud to serve.

It’s all part of our commitment to serving honest, high-quality food in a true neighbourhood pub — the kind of place where the food is just as memorable as the company.

Good food.
Good company.
